About Parquet Fox
Parquet Fox is a browser-based Parquet, CSV, and JSON viewer, editor, and SQL query tool. Open large data files, inspect schemas, run DuckDB SQL, and export results without installing anything or uploading files.
What it is
Parquet Fox runs entirely in your web browser. You can inspect schemas, query data with SQL via DuckDB WASM, edit results, and export to Parquet, CSV, or JSON. Parquet files up to 500 MB and CSV or JSON files up to 2 GB (compressed on disk) are supported; actual browser memory use depends on format and data content.
You can save work locally using your browser's Origin Private File System (OPFS), or open files from public or presigned HTTPS URLs — your browser fetches those links directly; Parquet Fox does not proxy them through our servers.
Who it's for
Data engineers, analysts, and backend developers who work with Parquet and related formats daily — especially when you need to inspect pipeline output, validate metadata, or run ad-hoc SQL without spinning up a local Python environment or desktop app.
How it works
- Drop a file, reopen a saved copy, or paste a file URL
- Explore schema, profile columns, and run SQL in the browser
- Export or save changes locally on your device
Privacy
Your file contents, SQL queries, and query results are processed on your device. Parquet Fox does not upload, store, or receive your data files on its servers.
Read the full Privacy Policy and Terms for details on analytics, feedback, and how we handle limited service metadata.
Pricing
Parquet Fox is free to use and does not require an account. Optional paid features may be introduced in the future; we will update our policies before any paid access is offered.
